Modulo, a leading provider of Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) solutions, announced the company’s presence at the 3rd Annual GRC India 2013 to be held April 25-26 in Mumbai, India.

This international forum brings industry experts together to discuss GRC best practices and attracts key decision makers in the Finance, Information technology and Legal domains across a broad range of industry sectors. Modulo is a sponsor of the event and will demonstrate its GRC solutions, present on the topic of “Vendor Risk Management” and participate in a panel session.

Pressure on companies to address fast-changing business dynamics and protect customers’ information has never been greater - from increasing regulatory requirements to cyber threats, fraud and third-party liabilities. In response, many leading Indian enterprises and multinational companies acknowledge the need to automate their GRC requirements with a tool that enables them to manage GRC and help adhere with one or many industry-specific standards – such as HIPAA, ISO27001, India IT Act, RBI IT/IS Guidelines. Achieving a unified risk and compliance scoring system across departments, teams and geographic offices helps executives make more informed business decisions and implement the most cost-effective controls.

A growing number of customers in the APAC region are turning to Modulo to implement their GRC programs, in particular to manage third-party vendor risk and outsourced operations, including contractual terms, standards and privacy laws.

“Modulo now serves many accounts in India who are using the Modulo Risk Manager platform. Modulo solutions help customers not only improve the efficiency of their GRC projects but also ensure continuous monitoring of IT and non-IT controls and the accuracy of risk and compliance intelligence which is reported at many levels within the organization,” noted Devang Ashar, Managing Director of the APAC region for Modulo."We are very pleased with our increasing footprint in India, one of the 38 countries in which Modulo is executing projects. We are particularly pleased with the opportunity to present our Vendor Risk Management solution which has grown over 100% in deployments year-over-year,” stated Sergio Thompson-Flores, CEO for Modulo.

Modulo recently announced its new version of its Vendor Risk Management solution to help enterprises identify and classify high-risk vendors and cloud providers as well as streamline the risk and compliance evaluation process.

“Risk Manager Version 8.1 has over 300 new enhancements for GRC implementations as well as the new Vendor Risk Management and Business Continuity Management modules - including dashboards and reports enhancements and integration with Microsoft Visio for business process risk mapping. Advanced Threat monitoring across multiple vulnerability scanners allows Risk Manager to import multiple vulnerability data feeds, harmonize for a unique risk score, and monitor remediation progress in real time,” said John Ambra, Director of Technical Services for Modulo.

Devang Ashar will present and participate as a panelist on Thursday April 25th at 12:25. The topic will be, “Vendor Risk Management.”

On Friday April 26th at 11:30, he will participate in a discussion, “Making a roadmap for practical implementation of integrated GRC structures within your organization.” The panel will also feature executives from Aditya Birla Financial Services Group, Lexplosion Solutions, Tata Power and Deloitte.
